Damon,

When you SET any variable(s) to NULL, it ALWAYS 
follows your DEFAULT NULL SETTING. Thus, you DON'T
need to use:

SET NULL -0-
SET VAR vName = -0-

Here's how it works:

IF you are defining the variable FIRST_TIME, then:

SET VAR vName DataType = NULL

IF the variable is ALREADY defined, then, depending 
on your circumstances, to make it null, all you 
need is to use:

SET VAR vName = NULL
