Gary,

I'm assuming that the *.PRT is the file extension associated 
for Crystal Reports 8.5 in Windows. 

Using The Glorious R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows:

At the mighty R> prompt or in a command file:

Example 01:

LAUNCH RepotyName.PRT 

Example 02:

LAUNCH C:\CRReports\ReportName.PRT
