Ben,
Actually, there is NO problem with the powerful LAUNCH command
using TGRB2000 version 6.5++ for Windows!
Here's what you have to do:
Based on your connected database QUOTE settings, try the
following at the mighty R> prompt or in a command file:
Example 01:
LAUNCH 'C:\My Documents\NFP Accounting Information Systems.DOC'
OR
Example 02:
LAUNCH "C:\My Documents\NFP Accounting Information Systems.DOC"
Notice that entire file specification string is enclosed with
quotes.
Enjoy and make sure to have fun!
Very Best Regards,
Razzak.

Hello: My problem with the [Launch] command is it works if I am in the directory for Word and the file name is one word. For example, "saddler.doc". However, if I am in any other directory and type the command as [launch c:\my documents\nfp accounting information systems.doc] the system will state an error of "Syntax is incorrect for launch(2045)". What is the problem. Ben Strickland
