Damon -

I'm most certainly keeping track of the "DUH !!!" pledges and I'm delighted
to add yours to the list!

For those of you who don't understand why Damon would offer to give me
money...

It's not for me - it's a contribution to a non-profit organization that's
close to R:BASE Technologies' heart, Project Bundle-Up,
http://www.wepasa.org/bundleup/bundleup.html. This year, on Project
Bundle-Up raised over $150,000 with all donations managed in R:BASE.

At the conference last year, any time someone heard a new idea, or saw the
light on something amazing that R:BASE could do, they contributed 25 cents
to the "kitty". Other contributions were required any time someone
mentioned:
    1. Any political opinions whatsoever (it was especially difficult last
year, right before the elections!)
    2. Any database program that competes with R:BASE
    3. Any talk about religion
    4. Any talk about any international "hot-spots" (the Mid-East, Ireland,
etc.)
    5. Any "classified ad" - yes you can purchase time at the podium to
promote your R:BASE projects, or to request help on a specific project

Or you could just make a donation to a great cause. At the end of the
conference, we had taken in about $250.00 - which Razzak and RBTI matched
for an impressive donation to Project Bundle-Up.

So, this year, we've already started taking donations, as Damon mentioned.
But this year, with a female emcee (me!), we're adding a NEW event that will
require a donation -
Anything sports-related. That's right, gentlemen. Any athletic
analogy. Any discussion of whatever sport is happening in October. Any
mention of the third shot on the 14th hole at the first RBTI golf
tournament.

That's right - I'm expecting to take in BIG BUCKS this year! It makes for a
great time and a great cause.

And if you haven't already registered for the conference - DO SO NOW!
