J.M.,
Obviously, it works on your laptop!
So, there must be something else going on your desktop PC.
Now I know why you are having all kinds of trouble <g>.
I would recommend to uninstall and make sure that all
directories, such as: C:\RBTI\RBWIN65 are cleaned.
Then, use your R:BASE for Windows CD for default install.
If you have the old CD, then, make sure to apply your
6.5++ upgrade.
FYI, three message files (RB651.MSG, RBG652.MSG, RB653.MSG)
belong to R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5) ODBC Driver and should be
installed under C:\WINDOWS (Win 95/98/Me) or C:\WINNT if
using Windows NT or Windows 2000.
Hope that helps!
Very Best Regards,
Razzak.
