Today for the first time I loaded RBWIN6.5+ onto W2000 workstation.
W2000 is running AFAIK "out of the box" as supplied by IBM.
My app runs relatively stably on W98SE but on W2000 it crashes
periodically with a Windows msg that RBase has made a "program error",
that details would be written to an error log and that RBase will be
shutdown. I have searched the drive rather thoroughly and can find no
error log referring to the crashes. Please does anyone know where this
log is to be found?
I have FILES set to 60 in RBASE.CFG. The error message looks familiar to
me: essentially the same old memory issues that have gone through so
many name changes by the MS marketing guys. Please does anyone have any
suggestions for improving the situation?
