My presentation at the R:Base Developer's Conference in October will
be on creating reports from within R:Base that do some things that
appear "impossible" from standard R:Base reports. This will include:

*) side-by-side "many" side lists of details (one of the reasons some
people want reports within reports, or multiple reports together.);

*) cross-tab reports, even for unpredictable numbers of rows and
columns;

*) telephone book order reports in columns;

There will be handouts showing step by step procedures, and sample
files.

You won't need the ODBC driver, or an Adobe Acrobat printer driver on
every workstation (or ANY workstation).

The hardest part of the presentation is going to be avoiding sports
references. Golf and baseball and football statistics would be so good
for the demonstrations. Maybe I can ask Sami for a bulk discount on
the charity contributions.
