Mike,

<PAUSE 2 USING 'Hello Charlie' at
center still puts it in upper left quadrant.>

I've tested it on both win98 and win nt machines and it works fine!

Not sure what's going on, on your end!

I position most of the dialog and pause boxes in areas that do not cover up
screen information!
I don't use a uniform position in most cases!!!

You are correct on the moving of the pause but the dialog box does not act
the same way without an AT!
if no AT is define on the dialog it centers by scrncol at row 3(seams to be
a default)!

Just one side note about RBGsize and the use of Pause and Dialog AT!

The position of the of scrncol, scrnrow or center of either is define by the
larges screen resolution possible! So as you reduce the screen size
displayed you'll have to reposition to the left from the center(largest
resolution) to the center of the actual screen being displayed(which is
smaller)!

Also the screen position (row, col) is define by the default font style width
and height in pixels!
The DOS to Windows graphics conversion for old text based display!

Best regards,

Oma
