Jim,

One way to do this is to create a temporary table w/ the data you want to
print. You need to add 3 extra columns, row_num, col_num and Page_num. Now
you need to write a small program declaring a cursor and you go through the
data and compute what row, col, and page the item needs to fall on. Populate
the columne w/ the appropriate info. Now crate a report that has break points
on page and row. You need expressions in the report on col_num to pull the
info for that col.  Example:

rcol1_phone = (ifeq(col_num, 1, phone_number, .rcol1_phone))
rcol2_phone = (ifeq(col_num, 2, phone_number, .rcol2_phone))
rcol3_phone = (ifew(col_num, 3, phone_number, .rcol3_phone))

put these three vars on your report on a single row in the H2 section of the
report.
