First, congratulations on staying CURRENT and welcome to
the Official R:BASE list server!
If you are experiencing a tremendous slowdown, especially
when changing menu, I would suggest the following:
01. Check the resolution and refresh rate of your desktop
settings, such as: colors, etc.
Adjust those accordingly and see what happens.
02. If you are experiencing slowdown when displaying any
form(s), you may want to check the proper INDEXes for
any lookup expressions.
Have you tried the sample databases and applications that
are installed in your sample directory, such as:
C:\RBTI\RBWIN65\SAMPLES
. CMS
. Concomp
. History
. NewStuff
You can access those sample applications via:
Start > Programs > RBASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) or manually by
going into each directory and then use the RUN command:
Example:
RUN CMS.DAT
RUN History.dat
RUN NewStuff.DAT
