This is an on-going problem. No solutions found yet, to my knowledge. The R:Base
version has no effect on the performance. We have found, in our testing, confirmed by
RBTI, that with a single user connected the speed is blazingly fast. Connecting a
second user, even if the user is not doing anything, results in a ten fold decrease in
speed.
