This is in addition to my previous mail:

05. Make sure that when logged in, the mapped drive 
    letter(s) and shortcut properties do match.

    If not, then, they have to be consistent with the 
    user(s) who don't experience the same problem. 

Traditionally, all users should have the same mapped 
drive letters, when using the icons on their desktop, 
etc .. but, who knows ... 

Because we are sometimes faced with existing problem(s) 
that other people have left behind, we tend to blame the 
obvious, which in this case is R:BASE.

In my own experience, my personal limitation of product 
knowledge and existing hidden problems from previous 
network management should NOT constitute a problem with 
any superficial software, such as R:BASE!
