How are you creating .vF_PoList variable?

How does it look? 

The IN option needs to be surrounded by the left and 
right parenthesis.  

Once you create that clause, which should looks like: 

(12345, 666600, 888888, 999999)

Then:

EDIT USING E_PurOrder WHERE Ponum IN &vF_PoList 

Hope that helps you understand the logic.
