In the example below, you create an Excel
Object, in this case "oExcel". From there,
you could put data into cell "A1" and then
you could make the text print sideways.
You could probably write an Excel macro
that would go out and get the data from
R:BASE via ODBC or you could go the
other way and write a VB application that
manipulates Excel and bridges the gap between
R:BASE and Excel. This is a lot more work
than you would be used to with the R:BASE
report writer but it would get the job done
for you.
Here's the code that would turn the text sideways:
