I used the generic text printer in windows to output two reports to a file
then output the file to the printer using type filename.

What is happening is I wrote a routine over a year ago that works fine with
6.5 Inline Patch 3.

The problem.

The first section of the two reports has

PH
D
PF
all var are located in the detail section

This prints the correct number of line of data output to the file

The second section of the two reports has

RF
all of the var are locate in the detail section

What happens with this this report six additional lines are added to the
bottom. Where as before what every the number of lines that where printing
either 10 or 11 would print. Now I'm getting 16 to 17 line for this section
which causes the report to print out two additional plank pages. I'm using
new courier fonts because I'm still printing 80 characters wide by 66 lines
on a pre printed form!

What changed!

I'm going to return them to 6.5 inline patch 3 status and put the upgrade on
hold!

I've not put this question to RBTI just wondering if any one has crossed
this before!

If there is not easy solution then a complete rewrite of this reporting
routine is required!

Best regards,
