I have attached to Dbase files with no problem. Seems much faster than
ODBC, IF you use Dbase indexes on the search columns R:Base lets you
choose the indexes when attaching. The only problem i have run into is if
the Dbase files are in another directory or volume. You have to be sure
the PATH is set so R:base can find them. R:base doesn't remember where the
file is once you close and reconnect.
