DOS BTrieve

Hello Everyone,

I know there has to be someone out there that know this stuff.  I have a
potential customer that would like a few tweaks to an old DOS based
Btrieve. I need access to documentation in how I can read the  systems
".PRF" , ".BTR", ".DAT" datafiles.  The date on the executables is
btrieve.exe 7/12/1990 butil.exe 7/15/1990.
Any help is appreciated,
