error message:  doesn't return a valid currency   set var afrt curr, xfrt text   set var afrt = .xfrt   This works at the R>    it doesn't work within a command file, it gives the above message.   is this a legal way to convert text to curr?   Bernie Lis Megabytes, Inc.
