Larry, Thanks for the "Change Section" option help. I've been working with the DOS version since 5000 and this Windows version is more of a look and find the options stuff. Thanks again, Ned
Oh yes, the reasons why I chose Report Footer are varied. One is because some of the detail takes more than one page. Second, I'm working my way up to speed on this procedure. And Lastly, In reality the RF is printed on a new page. Ordered checks with the check at the top. Oops! So. . . printing at the top of a new page until I use up the box of checks.) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Lawrence Lustig Sent: Tuesday, October 02, 2001 6:29 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Possibility to Increment by only 1? > I intended to increment by 1 the check numbers in the Report Footer of the > one page report. Not at all. You simply need to use the Variable | Change Section option on the Reports menu to move your variable from the Detail section to the appropriate section (from your description the Report Footer, although the Page Footer or Break Footer might be more appropriate if you are printing more than one check in the report). -- Larry _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
