Thanks to everyone for all the help. Razzak noted that by default variables are defined for the Detail Section, and Lawrence Lustig recommended I use the Change Section option under Variables on the Report Menu.
Now the report can be more than one page and when I see the total printed in the Page Footer I stick in the "Laser Check" as the Report Footer, and it gets printed with all the correct stuff.
