================================================================

If you are using R:BASE 2000 (version 6.5++) for Windows/DOS,
Build: 1.842xRT03 or lower versions, including R:BASE 6.1A, you
might run into a situation where you cannot create a TEMPORARY
table if your command line exceed 5000 characters or 400 items,
starting with CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE tablename ... command.

The following -ERROR- message will be displayed:

-ERROR-
"more than 5000 characters or 400 items on the input line"

However, if you remove the word TEMPORARY from the command,
it will creates a permanent table without errors.

Among many ENHANCEMENTS and NEW COMMANDS, the limit of
CREATing TEMPORARY TABLE tablename has been lifted in the
upcoming FREE 6.5++ in-line patch-1, to be released soon.

Using R:BASE 2000 (version 6.5++), Build:1.843xRT03, you will
be able to use CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE tablename command to
create Monster TEMPORARY Tables!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
