Let's call MS to have them put the same functionality
in Win 2000 Pro OS similar to Win 98 OS. See if they
can make their OS downwards compatible <g>.

As far as Windows XP is concerned, we all know that
Windows XP brings about the end of the DOS era.

Using The Glorious R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows,
you should use the new SET WINBEEP command.

Syntax:

SET WINBEEP ON n

Where n is the "Type of Sound" you would like to play.

(none) Exclamation
1 Exclamation
2 Critical Stop
3 Question
4 Default
(other) Asterisk
