Thanks. Now, how would you run that from R:Base?  WOuld you SET VAR vMailto to that long green text, then LAUNCH .vMailto?
David,

I think I'd write it out to a batch
file and do a ZIP COMMAND /C Blah.Bat
Of course, if you're NT or W2K you need to
adjust the COMMAND part.

David Blocker, this is for you.  I hope
it helps...

Here's all the info I could find about
Postie from the R:Street list.  I had a
little trouble with it (my own errors)
and I think this information will help
others:

I finally did get Postie to work.  Ben [Johansen],
thanks for your input.

I used my dialup that has a static IP
and I put all the stuff into a DOS
batch file and ran that.  That seemed
to work just fine.

The command in green below is what
worked.  I've also put information at
the end of this e-mail for those who
might be interested in trying Postie.

              Postie -host:"mx.seanet.com" -to:"[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
              -from:"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" -msg:"Hello" -User:"sjs"
              -pass:"**********"
