I have run into this annoying effect too, and usually can get
rid of it by copying the report to a new name, deleting the
old one, and renaming the copy to the old name.

Not elegant, but it works for me.

I wonder of this might not be a Windows, rather than a
R:Base problem.

(BTW, Windows 95; R:Base 6.5++)
