Nancy,
If you are viewing the report while in Report Designer,
using the magnifying glass icon, it will only print the
report based in first 10 rows. So, that may not be the
clear representation of displaying and printing report.
I would suggest to print the report at the R> prompt.
CLEAR ALL VAR
-- SET all necessary global variables (if required)
PRINT ReportName WHERE ...
Also,
01. Make sure that all column/variable objects are placed
in appropriate section of the report.
02. If any variable(s) defined as expression, make sure
that all variables belong to appropriate section.
To verify:
. Click on Variables
. Select List Expressions...
All variables placed on Page Header [PH] should
belong to PH.
All variables placed on Break Header 1 [H1] should
belong to H1.
All variables placed on Break Header 2 [H2] should
belong to H2.
and so on ...
To change section:
. Click on Variables
. Select Change Section...
. Click on appropriate expression to highlight
. Click on New Position Combo Box and select new
section accordingly.
. Click on Change button to save
. Click on Done
Save Report.
03. At the R> prompt:
PRINT ReportName WHERE ...
04. To test the same functionality and a sample report
with Headers, Breaks, etc ...
. Switch your current working directory to:
C:\RBTI\RBWIN65\SAMPLES\CONCOMP
CONNECT Concomp
CLEAR ALL VAR
PRINT Invoice
05. When UPGRADING from R:BASE 5.5 to The Glorious R:BASE
2000 (version 6.5++) for Windows, I would also recommend
the following:
. Launch TGRB2000
. At the R> Prompt:
SET MULTI OFF
SET AUTOCONVERT ON
SET AUTOUPGRADE ON
CONNECT DbName
SET DATE YEAR 30 (or whatever threshold you wish)
SET DATE YEAR 19 (for default century)
SET IDQUOTES=` (that is single reversed quote)
RELOAD ABName
DISCON
DEL DBName.RB?
RENAME ABName.RB? DBName.RB?
EXIT
There you have it ...
