The problem w/ NT and 2000 is that when you set up a shortcut to a batch file, you can not get to the memory settings tab. Basically to run R:base for DOS whatever version, you need the same memory settings that you use on Win 95 and 98. The trick I use to get around this problem is when I set up my shortcut to R:base instead of pointing the shortcut to my startup batch file, I point it to the Rbase.exe file. Now I can go in and tweek the memory settings and change the file that it runs from the exe to your batch file that you wanted in the first place.
