I have always used AT previously but using AT 25 doesn't move the "pause
box" far enough down the screen for a certain application. That's when I
discovered that if I did just a PAUSE 2 then I could move it with a mouse to
the location I wanted and it will appear at that location for every other
PAUSE 2 during that session. Since it can "remember" where it should be
positioned, I assume that the location info is stored somewhere. If so, I
thought that I could change the default location for that session without
using the mouse.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Frank,

What you say is true for the current session. When you exit and come back
into the application it loses your changed position and returns it to the
original location.

I would stick with the AT position.

Subject: PAUSE Location

Running RBWIN 6.5++

After starting RBase, if one does: PAUSE 2 USING 'Test' it positions the
pause box near the center of the screen.

If one then moves the pause box (with the mouse) to a new location on the
screen, the next time you do PAUSE 2 USING 'whatever' it positions it at
the SAME location that you last moved the previous pause box (as long as you
do not exit RBase).

You can position the pause box by moving it with the mouse to locations that
can NOT be achieved by using:
     PAUSE 2 USING 'whatever' AT scrnrow scrncol

How can you change the default position for [ PAUSE 2 USING 'howtodothis' ]
to, for example, the lower left corner of the screen, without having to move
the box with the mouse?
