There has been a tremendous amount of work done since the
release of R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5+), on December 29, 2000,
almost a YEAR ago. This work includes enhancements, new
commands and bug-fixes. Since that, a major upgrade, 6.5++,
was released on June 15, 2001. And, pretty soon, inline
patch-1 will be released for 6.5++ users.

General Rules:

01. ALWAYS use the CURRENT Command Syntax to get the most
out of R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) and higher for Windows.

02. Some product enhancements occur "under the covers"; they
are built into the engine and the user doesn't need to
change anything to take advantage of these enhancements
other than upgrade to the CURRENT version. Many of the
performance and optimization improvements of R:BASE 2000
(ver 6.5++) for Windows fall into this category.

03. Become familiar with the New Features, New Commands and
    Bug-Fixes in R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++)!

Given all these factors, the ONLY choice for MY customers
would be the LATEST 6.5++ version.

Also, when an issue arises, we are ALWAYS prepared to deal
with it in the CURRENT version.

Remember, the CHOICE is always YOURS!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
