I remember in dos command files I often would have to issue a Newpage
command to empty the remainder of the report to the printer.

First, look at the code you use to print the report to make sure you don't
have a "new" command after the print command.
Second thing, try setting the page footer number to a zero(0) and see if
that clears up the problem.
Third, unless you really need the page footer to be that big, I would reduce
it's size in the report designer and leave the page footer line# at line#
40.

Subject: Extra Formfeed in Reports

I am converting several reports from RBDos 6.5++ to RBWin 6.5++, Build
1.842xRT03, and I'm getting an extra form feed in them after they print. The
form feed after report footer is not checked, and the data and footer is
clearly not even CLOSE to the end of the page, and less that the page
definition length i.e. 65 lines per page, page footer 40, page footer height
8 lines, Times New Roman Font 12 point, all on a HP LaserJet 6P. Report
prints, and then there is a blank sheet fed after it's printed.

Memory tells me there was a solution for this out there, but I can't
remember
what it was, and I can't find it. Seems there was something that got
embedded
in some DOS 4.5++ reports that did this on a conversion, and I can't
remember. Report seems to run correctly in RBDos 6.5++, Build 1.842xRT03.

Any Ideas out there, other than just re-creating the whole report?

TIA

Damon
