Something like a pdf format. >Any suggestions for different products ... Arie, Using The Glorious R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows, you can create a PDF file for any R:BASE output, including the fancy reports with cool borders, images and fonts, etc. You will need to use any PDF Writer driver, such as Adobe Acrobat PDFWriter. Example: 01. Launch TGRB2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows 02. CONNECT dbname IDENTIFIED BY UserId 03. Create a quick command file with the following: -- Know your windows default printer SET VAR vWindowPrinter = (CVAL('WindowsPrinter')) -- Make PDFWriter as your current printer to create PDF -- version of your output, such as report PRNSETUP 'Acrobat PDFWriter' OUTP PRINTER PRINT ReportName WHERE ... ORDER BY ... OUTP SCREEN -- Switch back to your windows default printer PRNSETUP .vWindowsPrinter 04. To read that PDF report: LAUNCH PDFReportName.PDF 05. To quickly attach that PDF report as an attachment with your default e-mail client: LAUNCH mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] This will launch your default e-mail client and then you can attach PDF file as an attachment. You can AUTOMATE the entire task too ... For more details on LAUNCH command: http://www.RSyntax.com http://www.razzak.com/fte There you have it ... The upcoming product of RBTI, R:Merge for R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5) and higher will include the built-in output formats, such as: . Text . HTML . RTF .
