I unload the data from RBase to an ascii file, then pull it into the labeling program to run. Currently, it is an old Dos version, but it works. I just upgraded the printer to a Parallel port, and am installing Worth's Labelbase for Windows. With that, I can use the Launch command from the new RB6.5++, and run it in the background. If you would like, I can keep you posted on the install. I'm hoping to have it working within the next 2-3 weeks. Until then, the Dos version is pretty quick. I'm calling it from within RBase as a section of the command file, and on an OLD Pentium 1, 80 Mhz, time from release of command file to completed label is approx 1 minute. However, RBase comes back in approx 30 seconds, with the balance of the time being negotiations of serial handshaking between computer and printer. If you need anything further on this option, let me know. Damon Damon D. Kaufman President Stalder Spring Works, Inc ISO-9002 / QS-9000 Certified 2345 S.
