Laser check printing problem 6.5++ win 1.850

Problem: I get 7 extra blank lines at the end causing an extra sheet feed.   Procedure: Printing on letter size paper. top 1/3 is the stub (detail section) middle 1/3 is the stub again bottom 1/3 is the check face.   check report 1 prints the top 1/3 check report 2 prints the middle and check face.   I output to a file, print both reports, then output to printer.  examining the text file shows 7 blank lines at the end, If I manually delete these 7 lines then the extra page does not feed.   B4 out to a file I prnsetup to a generic text printer, after creating the file I prnsetup back to the laser printer.   I've changed the number of lines in the 2nd report to different settings, including zero and I still get 7 blank lines.   Anyone have any idea how to eliminate these 7 blank lines?
