I'm far from being a Novell guru but I've got
a few clients who still run Novell.  Here are
some settings I've tried that work pretty
well (your results may vary):

Need the latest NetWare client version on each PC
Go to Network Neighborhood and click on the NIC entry
Click the advanced tab
Click on Maximum Frame Size - set to 1,488
Click on IPX 32 bit protocol
Click on the SPX tab and verify:
50, 54, 108, 540

If you've got an older Netware client, these settings
may not all be available to manipulate.
