I use RBW 6.5++ (1.842xRT03) and I try to import a file from EXCELL 97 into a table that contains a NOTE column. If I use XLS4 format, it works, but NOTE field is truncated at 255 char. If I use ASCII TAB delimited format, it works, but NOTE field is truncated at 511 char. In both case, the file output from EXCELL is correct (not truncated) : truncation occurs during the import process in RBW. I use the GATEWAY dialog box. Same happen if the NOTE field is changed to TEXT (1024). Question : Is there a way to import full NOTE field (max length is no more than 1024 char.). TIA, J.M.
