Fred: I suspect that the best of both worlds solution might not exist. If the DOS report generator were compiled into the Windows application, the printing would still be Windows printing. I'm guessing that to avoid having Windows try to treat the printer like a regular Windows printer you need to be running from a DOS process. Could you tinker around with your current setup to make it invisible to the user? Use LAUNCH instead of the ZIP to fire off the DOS process (that way, RBWin won't pause and wait until the report is finished printing) and set up the DOS window that results to appear somewhere off the visible screen, or to have zero sized coordinates, or something. -- Larry __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
