Eric:

You can also try including an Indicator variable in your "Select Into"
syntax. The different versions of R:Base/RunTime all react differently when
you don't use an Indicator variable.

Ben, (feels a little like talking to myself again... <g>)

Since I'm referring to a literal column name and literal table name
only one value can be returned, thus the "=". Error checking on the
next line would pick up, serendipitously, a "too many values
returned" error if somehow there were two tables with the same
name or one table with two columns of the same name.

My general concern is that this has worked fine for a year and a
half. The app has been reconstructed and re-codelocked many
times during that time. Twice before I've had code stop working for
no apparent reason under RunTime (on _certain_ machines) with
codelocked files, and inserting some placebo like code in front of it
solved the problem. If I understood what caused it to happen it
would be a lot easier to take. OK, I'll stop whining now.

Thanks,

Ben (there I go again... oh,... no that is me, right??? <g>)
