Eric:

FYI, the following commands are NOT supported in R:BASE
2000 (ver 6.5++) and higher Runtime.

. CODELOCK
. EXPRESS
. FORMS
. HELP
. QUERY
. RBDEFINE
. RBEDIT
. RBLABELS
. REPORTS
. RULES
. SET (without a keyword)
. TRACE
. SHOW (Except SHOW ERROR and SHOW VAR)

Note: Some commands that do not work explicitly with
      Runtime may work if you add a PAUSE command after
      it, such as: LIST, LIST ACCESS, etc.

Try the following test using The Glorious R:BASE 2000
(ver 6.5++), Build:1.851xRT03 Runtime for Windows!

-- Test.RMD
-- To demonstrate the CREATE/ALTER command in Runtime
-- version of R:BASE 2000 (ver 6.5++) for Windows!
   CLS
   CONNECT NewStuff
   SET ERROR MESSAGE 2038 OFF
   DROP TABLE TestThis
   CREATE TABLE TestThis (TestColumn1 TEXT 8)
   ALTER TABLE TestThis ADD TestColumn2 TEXT 8
   CLS
   LIST
   PAUSE 2 USING 'You will NEVER regret to stay CURRENT!' +
     CAPTION 'TGRB2000 Runtime 6.5++' AT 16 30
   RETURN

Absolutely NO problem using the CURRENT and Up-to-Date
version of R:BASE.

The rest is history!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
