Is your default directory changing when it goes out to Acrobat and then
comes back? If the directory changes, then maybe it Rbase looses the app
you were running and that's why it hangs?

I too have experience a similar problem, after displaying a R-Base report
with Acrobat Reader, R:Base is hung. If you find the problem, please post
the
solution. (NT 4 w/ Sp6a, R:Base 6.5++, Acrobat 4).
