Razzak,
I was connected to the db but I tried to change
the settings from the Utilities, Settings screen.
I changed these settings and I still get the
error message. I am also having trouble loading .bmp image
into table to insert into my forms. I
have been emailing RBTI on this issue the last few days.
I am using Rbase 2000 for Windows ver.
6.5++ 1.851 x RT03 build. These have been ongoing problems for
me.
Thanks,
Sue

Sue,
You MUST first CONNECT the database and
then change the
CHARacter SETting(s)!
Example:
CONNECT
dbname
SET QUOTES=NULL
SET QUOTES='
SET IDQUOTES=NULL
SET
IDQUOTES=`
SHOW CHAR to display CHARacter SETtings for currently
connected database.
Have fun!
Very Best
Regards,
Razzak.
