Mike,

It's real easy. Form variables are not cleared when you leave the form. 
So just create a variable in the form set to the value of the Primary Key 
column:

fvLastRowViewed = PKColumn

Then, in your program code, do anything you want with the variable 
fvLastRowViewed.

In this case, you should predefine the variable before the EDIT USING 
statement, in case your EDIT USING WHERE clause finds no rows, 
and continues on with no variable set.
