I observed this when I turned off the -2513 message and another on nulls. When I came back into the database, I did a trace and they all started popping up again. No problem, I created a little rmd file that I run at the beginning of the session that has them in there. This is the same approach for control of cursors when you exit trace (ESC) when you see where you would like to make a code change. Normally when you come back in you have forgotten to close or drop the cursors that were active. So I run the K.rmd. This will flush all standard cursors set or not set. =========================== K.RMD set error messages off CLOSE M1 close c1 close c2 close c3 close c4 CLOSE C5 DROP CURSOR M1 drop cursor c1 drop cursor c2 drop cursor c3 drop cursor c4 DROP CURSOR C5 set error messages on

Damon, For each R:BASE session, if a particular -ERROR- message is turned OFF (up to 5 messages), you'll need to turned back on that particular message individually, during that R:BASE session. Once you EXIT the R:BASE session, and then come back, all -ERROR- messages will be turned ON, unless specified in your startup and/or command file.
