I just wrote an R:Base DLL called RBWinCnt that you can use to tell how many
copies of R:Base are running. You use it in your startup code like this:
SET VAR vRBCount = (UDF('@RBWinCnt.DLL', 'HELLO'))
IF vRBCount > 1 THEN
EXIT
ENDIF
Of course, instead of just exiting you might want to do something like
asking the user if they really want to run a second copy of R:Base.
I won't post the DLL to the list (it's 43K) so if you want it please send me
private email (that's an open invitation to anyone).
