First, thanks to Bill for being our volunteer list manager. My only comment
is that I look for the "thank you" in the thread for two main reasons. 

1. The thread usually begins with a question, problem, etc., and in most
cases the "thank you" from the originator "provides closure" and indicates
if/when the problem was solved and which response was the right or best
solution.

2. Call me old fashion, but I don't mind wasting "cyber-space" to see that
the recipient appreciated the assistance.
