Welcome back.  As you know, communities go through changes and evolve.
Perhaps the recent spate of list activity is part of the evolution and will
change things for the better.

I am attributing it to frustration and a bad day.  There is no reason to
take it further, IMO.

When I hear negative comments, I use those comments as an opportunity to
improve my customer relations or my presentation methods.  As professionals
in a rather competitive and difficult field, we all can use as much advice
and wisdom as we can find when it comes ot maintaining good customer
relations.

My point exactly.

I call it "political reality" to separate it from my own notions of reality.
Blame it on my undergrad years and philosophy.  But your wife is very, very
correct.  You are fortunate to have such a wise woman as your wife.
