Oterro 2.5 works pretty well and from my experience should be used instead 
of the ODBC driver that comes with R:Base.

Scott,

I have had pretty BAD luck using ODBC that comes with Rbase trying to go 
back and forth
between two different databases...very slow and not very reliable.  Is 
this likely a problem
with using VB as a front end to Rbase??
