Hello Razzak, thanks for your response. I've tried as you suggested and it works as you say - and as it does in my database for multiple records.
However, when I add "and Empfname = 'mary' " (which is the equivalent of selecting one row as I was doing in my database) I get one record in concomp and pressing either [F7] or [F8] does nothing - as it should. Conclusion: it's me/my database. Any ideas why this might be happening? The form is edit only with no EEPs and simply for viewing data.
