Steve, I seem to recall that you are using the lastest version of RBase but previously used ver 4.5++. You should run you command file thru RSTYLE which is distributed with you version. This is a great tool that spots all kinds of coding errors. I you are interested, contact me off the list and I will send you a copy of the options I use.
