Razzak, since I'm in the midst of reading "High Stakes, No Prisoners", by Charles Ferguson, founder of Vermeer, publishers of FrontPage, purchased by those MS folks, and, though I'm sure that you have no time to read it, although I can endorse it, especially for anyone involved in the software industry, I thought I'd ask you a Q. When the code is "gold"-en i.e. tested and ready to burn (CD's), do you have marketing plans in place to help you get the word out?
If v7 is fancy, flexible, and robust, from what little I've seen, then it could (should) be a big hit, and y'all need to be ready to exploit the business opportunity as much as is feasible. As I have said, I consider myself a rational skeptic, you know, "Show me (the money)" and "Trust, but verify", however, I believe in working with hope for the best and plans for the worst. Ferguson talks about the "dog-n-pony" circuit and affirms its value in the marketplace. Take a look at this book when you get a chance ; I think it'll be well worth reading.
