Alastair You should only have to enter the maximize command once before the browse. maximize edit * from table1 edit * from table3 edit * from table5
I set the maximize in the RBase.DAT file when I first enter R:Base. Then only time that I have to use the maximize command again is when I have used the Object Manager. If I change the file to: maximize edit * from table1 maximize edit * from table3 maximize edit * from table5 I get the data displayed full size in the R:Base screen - which is what I want - BUT there is a second or two of rapid flickering across the screen between each edit command - which I really don't want. I know that I can specify the width of each column but that presupposes that I know which columns are wanted and that new ones are not added. The "manual" says that maximize/minimize apply to the R:> window rather than edit/browse windows. Does anybody know a better way of obtaining a full screen display of individual windows within R:Base? Thanks in advance, Regards, Alastair. ---------------------------------- A D B Burr, St. Albans, UK. ---------------------------------- [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------------------------- ================================================ TO SEE MESSAGE POSTING GUIDELINES: Send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: INTRO rbase-l ================================================ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: UNSUBSCRIBE rbase-l ================================================ TO SEARCH ARCHIVES: http://www.mail-archive.com/rbase-l%40sonetmail.com/ ================================================ TO SEE MESSAGE POSTING GUIDELINES: Send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: INTRO rbase-l ================================================ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message body, put just two words: UNSUBSCRIBE rbase-l ================================================ TO SEARCH ARCHIVES: http://www.mail-archive.com/rbase-l%40sonetmail.com/
