Frank, Check to make sure that "Column Returned" value is going to a "column" or a "variable". If the "Column Returned" value is going to a variable, then, you need to change expression, such as: vs_sub_decscr = sub_decscr in subscription_type where sub_no = .varname Hope that helps!
